New Venue : Barn On The Bay, Northumberland

Barn On The Bay is such a unique and magical by the sea wedding venue that is also part of a working farm.  

 

I was priviliged to meet Alison during a trip up to meet the team on one of their open days so took the opportunity to discuss this wonderful venue.  

 

Alison and her husband Phil's vision and hard work have turned this once-derelict barn into a stunning and sustainable venue that has become one of the North East's best. 

 

Alison's journey started when she and Phil decided to convert the old barn on their farm into a wedding venue.  

At the time, there were no other venues like it in the area, and they saw an opportunity to offer something different to couples looking for a special and unique location for their wedding day. 

 

In 2012, Barn On The Bay opened its doors for the first time. The response was overwhelmingly positive, and the venue quickly became one of the most sought after and popular wedding venues in the region. 

 

Over the years, Alison and Phil have continued to develop and improve the venue, always with a focus on providing an amazing experience for couples on their wedding day. 

 

Their determination, hard work, and commitment to sustainability and customer service are a testament to what can be achieved with a clear vision and a strong work ethic. Barn On The Bay is a beautiful and unique venue, and it is clear that Alison and Phil's passion and dedication have played a significant role in its success. 

 

Meeting Alison and hearing their story, was truly inspiring. 

 

In addition to its stunning location and eco-friendly credentials, Barn On The Bay is also known for its exceptional customer service.  

 

I also met Nicola who is the Wedding and Events Manager at Barn On The Bay and she's simply fantastic with couples, so warm and friendly and focussed on giving their couples the best wedding day experience possible.  

 

Nicola and her team of Dawn and Sophie, go above and beyond to make each wedding day special, and they have built a reputation for their attention to detail and personal touch.
